The Under God section at the Washington Post reports that McDonalds has caved in to a long boycott by the Christian Family Association by ending a relationship with gay group. They also discuss boycotts and if they work or not. Looks like we need to consider putting McDonalds on the boycott list. Anyone want to research this situation and post about it here?
Earlier this week, the conservative Christian American Family Association announced that it was calling off its five-month boycott of McDonald’s after the fast-food giant ended it relationship with the National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce. AFA has led boycotts against Ford, Disney and Hallmark for similar reasons.

Well…it looks like boycotting McDonald’s will now not only be good for your physical health, but will also be good for your “spiritual” health as well. Why give money to anyone who supports people that want to make America a theocracy rather than a democracy? The bible does not trump the constitution in a free society. True American spirit involves savoring and protecting freedom, especially individual freedom.
Buy and apple and a piece of good cheese and be healthier as well as savvy.
